Job Title: Senior Accountant
Job Summary: The Senior Accountant is responsible for managing the financial operations of the company, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations. This role involves handling day-to-day accounting tasks, preparing financial statements, managing tax filings, and supporting financial planning and analysis. The Senior Accountant will work closely with the finance team to maintain the financial health of the company and provide actionable insights to senior management. Strong attention to detail, a deep understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to work independently are essential for success in this role.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in accounting, preferably in a senior role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS, GAAP) and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar platforms).
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with internal teams and external auditors.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or ACCA certification is a plus).
- Minimum 3 years UAE experience.
